230316 La revolución en el cine latinoamericano (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

En este seminario se enfocarán algunas producciones del cine que se ocupan del tema de la revolución – con especial énfasis en el caso de México (aquí nos interesan entre otros los cortometrajes de Revolución, 2010) dónde este evento ha experimentado con el paso de tiempo diversas elaboraciones, transformaciones y cargas simbólicas que marcan profundamente la memoria cultural mexicana. Además discutiremos el movimiento del Tercer Cine e indagaremos en cómo están escenificadas preocupaciones políticas y sociales en películas como La hora de los hornos (dir. Octavio Getino, Pino Solanas, 1968) o La tierra prometida (Miguel Littín, 1972).
