Die Arbeit in und mit Gruppen ist elementarer Bestandteil der praktischen wie theoretischen Pädagogik. Eine der bedeutendsten Persönlichkeiten in diesem Zusammenhang ist noch heute der Begründer der modernen experimentellen Sozialpsychologie Kurt Lewin.
In diesem Seminar wird historisch und systematisch das Werk Kurt Lewins entlang seiner biographischen Etappen erörtert: seine stark gestaltpsychologisch geprägte Individualpsychologie, sowie seine vor allem demokratisch begründete Sozialpsychologie der Gruppe und des Feldes. Verschiedene für die Pädagogik relevante Anwendungsfelder werden vorgestellt.
