Studierende treten in diesem Seminar mit Lehrpersonen und Studierenden in Fernost Asien (China, Vietnam und Korea) in Kontakt, um andere Formen des Unterrichts kennenzulernen. Seit PISA und TIMMSS wissen wir, gesellschaftliche Schlüsselfaktoren und erziehungswissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse überschreiten nationale Grenzen und Interessen - das Klassenzimmer wird global. Bildungswissenschaftler und Lehrpersonen sollten sich ein Bild davon machen, wie Lehrplan, inklusiver Unterricht und Lehramtsausbildung auf der anderen Seite des Globus aussehen.
Im Seminar führen wir in die Methodologie ethnografischer Fallstudien und in die Cultural Studies ein. Wir wollen Einblicke zu historisch-kulturellen Entwicklungen von Schule in Ländern des Fernen Ostasien generieren und Erkenntnisse für Schulentwicklungen in Deutschland gewinnen.
Die direkte Kommunikation mit Lehrpersonen aus Asien gestalten wir via Social-Media und Videokonferenzen, um die kulturellen und historischen Eigenheiten wissenschaftlich zu untersuchen und für Schul- und Unterrichtsentwicklung nutzbar zu machen.

Basis an Social-Media Fähigkeiten (Skype und WhatsApp) und
ein wenig Englischkenntnisse für die Kommunikation mit den Lehrpersonen aus den asiatischen Ländern
