In diesem Seminar soll es darum gehen, sich den Ansatz der Rassismuskritik im Zusammenhang der Migrationspädagogik zu erschließen.
Am ehesten eignen sich an dieser Stelle Fragen, die wir versuchen sollten, zu bearbeiten:

Wie lässt sich „Rassismuskritik“ eigentlich theoretisch greifen?
In welcher Relation steht die Rassismuskritik zu Ansätzen von Critical Whiteness?
Welche Ebenen werden dabei angesprochen (strukturelle, individuelle..)?
Was hat das Ganze mit der Sicherung und Verteidigung von Privilegien zu tun?
Was hat Rassismuskritik mir reflexiver Sprachpraxis zu tun?
In welcher Relation steht Rechtsextremismus, Rechtspopulismus und Rassismus zu einander?
Was kann Rassismuskritik in der Praxis heißen?
Was hat das Ganze mit -MIR- zu tun?
Wie lernen wir, zu (ver)lernen?

Um diese und weitere Fragen zu bearbeiten, nähern wir uns unterschiedlichen Theorielinien, die eine rassismuskritische Perspektive schärfen können. Grundlegend sind dabei Ansätze machtkritischer und postkolonialen Pädagogik. Ziel des Seminars ist es macht- und rassismuskritische Perspektiven zu erarbeiten, um gemeinsam Spielräume positionierten pädagogischen Handelns auszuloten und damit zur Entwicklung einer rassismuskritischen Haltung beizutragen.
Unsere Lektürearbeit soll sich u.A. über folgende Autor*innen erstrecken: miles, balibar, hall, hooks, kilomba, spivak, castro varela, mecheril, kalpaka, heinemann, hornscheidt, el-tayeb, hà, barry, carr, attia, dhawan.

Studienleistung:
Als Studienleistung soll seminarbegleitend ein Lerntagebuch geführt werden. Die Anforderungen an die jeweiligen Einträge in das Lerntagebuch sollen in der ersten Sitzung des Seminars besprochen werden.

(Un-)benotete Prüfungsleistungen
• Portfolio: In diesem Seminar eignet sich insbesondere die Portfolioarbeit als Form der EL. Zu den Anforderungen mehr in persönlicher Absprache im Rahmen meiner Sprechstunde.
• Hausarbeit im Umfang von höchstens 4.500 Wörtern
