Informelles Lernen rückt in den letzten Jahren verstärkt in die bildungspolitische und erziehungswissenschaftliche Aufmerksamkeit. In dem Seminar beschäftigen wir uns mit den verschiedenen Verständnissen und Formen des informellen Lernens. Dabei wird vornehmlich das Lernen, das außerhalb öffentlicher Bildungsinstitutionen stattfindet, in den Blick genommen. Unterschiedliche Lernorte und Kontexte (Städte, Museen, Medien, Arbeit, Engagement, Betriebe, Freizeit, Vereine, Reisen etc.) werden unter der Perspektive des „informellen Lernens“ analysiert.
Neben einer theoretischen Auseinandersetzung mit dem „Informellen Lernen“ und mit „Lernorten“ geht es auch um das Verständnis, wie diese „Räume für Bildung“ für das pädagogisches Handeln in den Blick genommen werden können.Dabei kommt der Reflexion eigener „Erfahrungswelten“ eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Kooperatives Lernen in Kleingruppen wird vorausgesetzt
