Die Vorlesung soll sozialisationstheoretische Grundlagen vermitteln. Dabei stehen die Geschichte der unterschiedlichen Bezugstheorien, Handlungsfelder und Adressaten pädagogischer Interventionen im Mittelpunkt. Ein zusätzlicher inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Bedeutung von sozialen Ungleichheiten für das Aufwachsen von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Die Vorlesung thematisiert vor allem erziehungs- und soizalwissenschaftliche Theoriebezüge der Sozialisationsforschung. Gleichzeitig stellt sie empirische Bezüge her. Über die Prüfungsmodalitäten (Studien- und Prüfungsleistungen) wird in der Vorlesung informiert. Die Vorlesung wird intensiv über Materialien im Lernraum begleitet.
