Der Erfolg des im vorigen Herbst in die Kino gekommenen Lutherfilms führt vor Augen, wie sehr die hier zu behandelnde Epoche Zeitgenossen zu bewegen vermag, wenn historisch-theologische Inhalte mit medialem Geschick weitergegeben werden.
In dem Seminar sollen grundlegende theologische und kirchengeschichtliche Themen des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts anhand von Texten und Objekten (Kirchenräume und -ausstattungen, Ablasszettel, Reformatorische Flugschriften, Fegefeuerdarstellungen, reformatorische und gegenreformatorische Bildprogramme) bearbeitet werden, die auch für den Religionsunterricht mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen geeignet sind.
Lateinkenntnisse sind erwünscht, aber nicht Bedingung. Um einen Überblick über die Epoche zu erlangen, empfehle ich den Besuch der nachfolgend angekündigten Vorlesung zur Kirchengeschichte des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts.
