Erderwärmung, soziale Ungerechtigkeit, Verstöße gegen Menschenrechte, Klimawandel – dies sind Schlagworte, die häufig in den Medien Erwähnung finden und unsere Generation beschäftigen. Um dem entgegenzuwirken, sind Bewegungen wie Fridays for Future oder German Zero entstanden.
Was können Unternehmen und ihre Beschäftigten leisten, um die Zukunft grüner, fairer, und nachhaltiger zu gestalten? Corporate Social Responsibility (dt.: unternehmerische Sozialverantwortung) beinhaltet umweltbezogene Strategien oder soziales Engagement auf Unternehmensebene und wird von der Mehrheit der Unternehmen bereits praktiziert. Die Forschung im Bereich Employee Green Behavior (grünes Verhalten von Beschäftigten) befasst sich mit der Frage, wie Beschäftigte sich am Arbeitsplatz einen Beitrag zur Nachhaltigkeit leisten können.
Die Inhalte des Seminars werden sowohl in Präsenzphasen als auch im Selbststudium erarbeitet. Vorgesehene Arbeitsformen sind die Kleingruppenarbeit und das eigenständige Arbeiten. Das Seminar ist zu einem großen Teil literaturbasiert. Zur Vorbereitung auf die Sitzungen wird wissenschaftliche Literatur in Form von englischsprachigen Journalartikeln oder wissenschaftlichen Buchkapiteln gelesen. Im Seminar wird das Wissen weiter vertieft und diskutiert. Das Gelernte wird auf praktische Fragestellungen angewendet. Im Seminar finden Diskussionen im Plenum, Einzelarbeit und Gruppenarbeit oder die Bearbeitung von Aufgaben zu zweit statt.

Zur Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist die Teilnahme an der Platzvergabe sowie die Anwesenheit während der ersten Sitzung zwingend erforderlich.

Hinweis für Studierende des Moduls Prozesse in Organisationen des Studengangs Sportwissenschaft: Organisationsentwicklung und -beratung sowie Nebenfach Psychologie: Es wird dringend empfohlen, die Vorlesung Organisationspsychologie vor dem Start dieser Veranstaltung erfolgreich besucht zu haben.
