300630 Einführung Migrationssoziologie (S) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Contents, comment

In diesem Seminar befassen wir uns mit den Grundlagen von Migration und Integration. Wir werden uns mit Kategorisierungsprozessen beschäftigen, integrationsbezogene Theorien und Konzepte (z.B. Assimilation) diskutieren und uns mit transnationalen Perspektiven auseinandersetzen. Außerdem betrachten wir Migration im Zusammenhang mit anderen Dimensionen, etwa Religion oder Geschlecht. Im letzten Teil des Seminars werden wir Forschungsmethoden in der Migrationssoziologie kennenlernen und über methodologische Herausforderungen sprechen.
