BITTE BEACHTEN: DER KURS FINDET GEBLOCKT STATT
------------------------------------------------------------------Ausgehend von bahnbrechenden wissenschaftssoziologischen Studien in den 1980er Jahren, hat sich die Akteur-Netzwerk-Theorie (ANT) zu einer enorm wichtigen und in der Soziologie vieldiskutierten Sozial- und Gesellschaftstheorie entwickelt. Der innovative Ansatz unterscheidet sich in vielen Hinsichten vom soziologischen Mainstream, vor allem indem er klassische Gegensätze (z.B. zwischen „Kultur“ und „Natur“ bzw. „Mikro“ und „Makro“) überwindet oder Materialitäten explizit in der Analyse miteinbezieht. Dies erlaubt es der ANT, soziologische Grundprobleme – wie die Frage nach der Möglichkeit sozialer Ordnung – neu zu denken und provokante Einsichten zu liefern.

Anhand ausgewählter klassischer Texte, deren Inhalte in den Sitzungen besprochen werden, führt das Seminar die ANT und ihre Grundbegriffe (wie „Centres of Calculation“, „Übersetzung“, oder „Versammlung“) ein. Studierende lesen die Texte vorbereitend auf die Sitzungen und reichen im Vorfeld Fragen ein, die sie sich bei der Lektüre gestellt haben.
