360030 Geist und Ungeist: Zur Lehre vom Heiligen Geist (S+V) (SoSe 2020)

Der Heilige Geist ist insbesondere in der evangelischen Theologie traditionell ein selten gesehener Gast. Zudem grenzt die Systematische Theologie seine Gegenwart bzw. Wirksamkeit häufig auf den Innenraum der Kirche ein. Wenn man genauer auf das biblische Zeugnis hinsieht, zeigt sich jedoch eine wesentlich größere Wirksamkeitsspanne des Geistes, die von der Systematischen Theologie berücksichtigt werden sollte.
Darüber hinaus ist die biblische Rede vom Heiligen Geist alles Andere als eine Frömmigkeitsübung. In den meisten Fällen und insbesondere im Alten Testament sowie in bestimmten Phasen der Kirchengeschichte wird vom Heiligen Geist in gesellschaftlichen Konfliktszenarien gesprochen und in Abwehr von einem sich ausbreitenden Ungeist. Damit hat sie durchaus Aktualität.
