Dieses interdisziplinär angelegte Seminar widmet sich den begrifflichen Reichweiten und Praktiken des Hackings im Zusammenhang zu kulturellen Ausprägungen. Es geht zunächst darum, zu untersuchen, wie der Begriff des Hackings belegt ist und wie die mediale Inszenierung von Hacking im weitesten Sinne erfolgt. Wir werden uns im Seminar zudem mit den ethischen Rahmenbedingungen und technischen Praktiken um das Hacking im Zusammenspiel mit dem Internet beschäftigen. Aus den gesetzten Perspektiven werden wir uns dann schließlich der Frage zu wenden, wie Hacking in Verbindung zur Herstellung von Orientierungsrahmen zu denken ist.
