Das Projektseminar Text- und Medienlinguistik bietet einen umfassenden Überblick über die medienspezifischen Bedingungen und Merkmale von sprachlichen Äußerungen. Hierbei sind zunächst phonische und graphische Realisierungsformen von Sprache in ihrer phylo- und ontogenetischen Entwicklung zu betrachten. Darüber hinaus werden in einem erweiterten Medienbegriff dann unterschiedliche Trägerformen von Sprache in ihren Auswirkungen auf die Form der Äußerungen betrachtet.
Im ersten Teil des Seminars werden wir in gemeinsamen Seminarsitzungen theoretische Grundlagen, Methoden und aktuelle Forschungsansätze erarbeiten. Die Projekte sollen im zweiten Teil des Seminars als Einzelprojekte durchgeführt werden und können wahlweise empirische Untersuchungen zu medienlinguistischen Fragestellungen oder die Erarbeitung theoretischer Aspekte des Zusammenhangs zwischen Sprache und Medien beinhalten.
Die Ergebnispräsentation findet in Absprache mit den SeminarteilnehmerInnen als Blockveranstaltung am Ende des Semesters bzw. zu Beginn der vorlesungsfreien Zeit statt.

Regelmäßige Teilnahme und aktive Mitarbeit in den Seminarsitzungen wird erwartet.
Die Studienleistung wird durch die Planung und selbständige Durchführung eines Projekts und die Präsentation der Ergebnisse im Seminar erbracht.
Im Rahmen dieses Seminars können benotete Projektberichte erstellt werden.
