Wer zu Zeiten der Diktatur Francisco Francos (1939-1975) schreiben und publizieren wollte, für den führte kein Weg an der Zensur vorbei. Die repressiven Maßnahmen implementierten allerdings nicht zwingend eine destruktive Schere im Kopf, sondern generierten kreative Strategien der Umgehung, wie sie literarische Werke wie La familia de Pascual Duarte (1942) von Camilo José Cela, Historia de una escalera (1949) von Antonio Buero Vallejo oder Cinco horas con Mario (1966) von Miguel Delibes auszeichnen. Im Seminar werden wir diese Texte vor der Folie der politischen und sozio-kulturellen Parameter der Francozeit diskutieren.
