Die Beschreibung „Menschen verfügen über eine Identität“ ist eine relativ junge Beschreibungsform. Etwa seit den 1960er Jahren wird der Ausdruck (Ich-)Identität in den Sozialwissenschaften intensiver benutzt. Seither hat er eine beeindruckende Karriere hinter sich gebracht. Mittlerweile ist es auch alltagssprachlich selbstverständlich von der eigenen Identität, Identitätsproblemen, Identitätskrisen, etc. zu sprechen.
„Identität“ ist ein Wort, in dem eine in hochdifferenzierten Gesellschaften verbreitete Art zum Ausdruck kommt, in der Menschen in ein Verhältnis zu sich selbst treten, wie sie sich erkennen und anerkennen, weil sie erkannt und anerkannt werden. Mit diesem hier angedeuteten Zusammenhang werden wir uns im Seminar beschäftigen und in der Beschäftigung sowohl grundlagentheoretische und erziehungswissenschaftliche Texte lesen und diskutieren, die sich mit personal-individueller Identität als auch mit sozial-kollektiver Identität beschäftigen.

Insgesamt ist für das Seminar die Lektüre von Texten im Umfang von ca. 120 Seiten vorgesehen; zusätzliche Literatur wird Ihnen zur Verfügung gestellt.

Gerne Hausarbeit (Überlegungen zu Thema, Fragestellung, Aufbau, Literatur etc. bitte individuell mit mir besprechen)
