Die Vorlesung schließt an AF-Kli1.1 an. Es werden die wichtigsten psychischen Störungen des Erwachsenenalters einschließlich des höheren Lebensalters vorgestellt. Neben Symptomatik und Klassifikation wird vor allem aktuelles Wissen zur Ätiologie (Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung), hinsichtlich störungsspezifischer Modelle der Krankheiten sowie für die wissenschaftlich geprüften und anerkannten psychotherapeutischen Verfahren Methoden im Erwachsenenalter und höheren Lebensalter vermittelt. Darüber hinaus werden ethische Fragestellungen in Forschung und Praxis sowie berufsrechtliche Vorgaben psychotherapeutischen Handelns und sozialrechtliche Vorgaben der psychotherapeutischen Versorgung bei Erwachsenen und Personen höheren Lebensalter thematisiert.

Die Veranstaltung ist auf 180 TeilnehmerInnen begrenzt.
Studierenden wird empfohlen, die Veranstaltung "Einführung in die Klinische Psychologie I" vorher besucht zu haben.

Die Modulteilprüfung wird durch eine Klausur im Umfang von 45-60 Minuten über die Inhalte von AF-Kli1.2 am Ende des Sommersemesters erbracht.
