In diesem Kurs werden wir uns mit der Geschichte der Sowjetunion vom Kriegsende 1945 bis zur Zerstörung der Sowjetunion im Jahr 1991 beschäftigen. Wie sahen die letzten Jahre von Stalins Leben aus? Wie hat sich die UdSSR von der schrecklichen Katastrophe des Zweiten Weltkriegs erholt? Wie lebte die Gesellschaft in den Jahren des sogenannten Tauwetters und der Stagnation? Und was führte die Sowjetunion zum Zusammenbruch? Wir werden die Ereignisse des politischen Lebens durch das Prisma des gesellschaftlichen Lebens und seiner Phänomene betrachten, wie z. B. den Antisemitismus der Nachkriegszeit, den Konsumismus sowie informelle Bewegungen wie die Stilyagi und die Hippies.
