Contents, comment

This lecture is designed as a general introduction to Literary Studies and aims to familiarise students with the fundamentals necessary for the study of Anglophone literatures. It will acquaint students with different theoretical approaches to literature as well as important critical concepts and methods in order to further their skills in description, analysis and interpretation. For illustration, we will draw on representative texts from a variety of genres, authors and periods.
