In this course, we will focus on theories and concepts of personality, covering specific personality domains and self-conceptions (e.g. BIG 5) and their development from childhood until very old age. We will learn about basic conceptions of consistency and change in personality, and focus on specific trajectories during the life course. Students will familiarize themselves with the study of personality development from a life span perspective, read and discuss scientific articles and deepen their knowledge on the methods that are employed in this area.
The class is recommended for students in their third B.Sc. Psychology semester. Course language will be English.
