Unsere gängigen Vorstellungen vom Leben als 'Mann' ist eng mit Erwerbsarbeit verbunden. Beruf, Karriere, Erfolg gehören ebenso dazu wie die Rolle als Ernährer der Familie. Diese enge Verbindung wird durch verschiedene gesellschaftliche Transformationsprozesse massiv herausgefordert. Wir werden gemeinsam diesen Entwicklungen auf den Grund gehen, theoretische Konzepte dazu kennenlernen und auch an empirischem Material interpretierend arbeiten, das in einem aktuell laufenden Forschungsprojekt erhoben wurde. Grundlegend sind Erkenntnisse der Arbeits- und Organisationssoziologie sowie der Geschlechterforschung.
