Staatlich und nicht-staatliche Akteure verwenden gelegentlich gewaltsame Mittel um ihre Ziele durchzusetzen. Aber wer ist eigentlich aus welchen Gründen berechtigt politische Gewalt auszuüben? Gewöhnlich wird davon ausgegangen, dass nur Staaten dazu legitimiert sein können - und auch nur mit erheblichen Restriktionen. Im Seminar soll gefragt werden, ob diese Positin haltbar ist. Dabei soll es um das staatliche Gewaltmonopol, Kriegseinsätze und Terrorismus gehen.

An diesem Graduiertenseminar, das für den fachwissenschaftlichen Master Philosophie konzipiert ist, können zusätzlich maximal 10 Bachelor- und Master of Education-Studierende der Philosophie teilnehmen.
Letztere müssen das Anmeldeverfahren durchlaufen und eine Zusage des Dozenten bekommen haben. Zur Anmeldung senden Sie dem Veranstalter eine E-Mail mit Angabe Ihres Namens, des Fachsemesters, Ihren Vorkenntnissen und einer Begründung, warum Sie an diesem Graduiertenseminar teilnehmen wollen. Sie erhalten rechtzeitig Bescheid, ob Sie an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen dürfen.Mindestvoraussetzung für den Besuch dieses Graduiertenseminars sind der erfolgreiche Abschluss des Grundkurses Praktische Philosophie sowie eines weiteren Moduls in der Praktischen Philosophie.

Im Masterstudiengang erfolgt der Erwerb von Leistungspunkten ausschließlich auf Modulebene.
Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern für das Modulportfolio, auf dem die unbenotete Moduleinzelleistung beruht. Die Anforderungen für den Modulportfolio-Beitrag werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben. Als Modulabschluss kann eine Hausarbeit geschrieben werden. Achtung: Beachten Sie die Regelungen zur Anmeldung!
