Im Seminar besprechen wir neuere Texte aus der Erkenntnistheorie, insbesondere Texte zur Tugenderkenntnistheorie - einer heute sehr einflussreichen Theorierichtung, deren Grundidee es ist, den ursprünglich in der Ethik beheimateten Begriff der Tugend auch für erkenntnistheoretische Zwecke nutzbar zu machen.
Im Zentrum des Seminars stehen Theorien des Wissens, die mit dem Tugendbegriff operieren, aber auch Ansätze, die sich mit der Frage beschäftigen, welche Charaktereigenschaften eine Person zu einer guten Denkerin machen.
