261017 Implizite Vorurteile: Ethische und politische Aspekte (S) (SoSe 2017)

Im Zentrum des Seminars steht die ethische und politische Relevanz von sog. impliziten Vorurteilen (implicit biases), d.h. von automatischen und unbewussten negativen Einstellungen gegenüber Mitgliedern sozial marginalisierter Gruppen. Unter anderem soll geklärt werden, ob wir für diskriminierende Verhaltensweisen, die durch implizite Vorurteile verursacht werden, verantwortlich sein können und wie wir auf das Wissen um die weite Verbreitung von impliziten Vorurteilen politisch reagieren sollten.

Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Da jedoch die im Seminar gelesene Texte nur auf Englisch verfügbar sind, sind sehr gute englische Lesekompetenzen unerlässlich.
