Im Rahmen der angestrebten SGB VIII-Reform wird der Begriff der Teilhabe zentral positioniert. Durch die beabsichtigte Zusammenführung der Leistungen/Angebote für Kinder und Jugendliche mit und ohne Behinderungen im "neuen" Kinder- und Jugendhilfegesetz erscheint es notwendig, die unterschiedlichen Lesarten des Teilhabe-Begriffs zu analysieren und deren Implikationen für die Gestaltung von Unterstützungsangeboten abzuschätzen. Im Seminar wenden wir uns daher zum Einen dem Teilhabeverständnis der Behindertenhilfe zu, hier mit besonderem Fokus auf das neue Bundesteilhabegesetz. Beispiele aus der Praxis zur Erfassung von Teilhabeinschränkungen sind geplant, um die Auswirkungen auf die Leistungsauswahl und -gestaltung zu diskutieren.
Zum Anderen wird die Teilhabediskussion in der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe näher beleuchtet, inklusive der konkreten Konsequenzen für verschiedene sozialpädagogische Hilfen.
Ziel des Seminars ist die Entwicklung eines kritisch reflektierten Teilhabeverständnisses, welches die Verkürzungen der aktuellen sozialpolitischen und sozialpädagogischen Debatten in diesem Bereich überwindet.
