230018 Bausteine der Semantik (S) (SoSe 2017)

Nach der Einführung der Montague Semantik hat die formale Semantik in der Linguistik endgültig ihren Durchbruch erlebt. Die 70er und 80er Jahre wurden zunehmend verbracht, die Effekte dieser Technisierung zu verdauen. Seitdem aber macht sich in der Semantik ein neuer Trend bemerkbar: die Suche nach den elementaren Objekten, den Grundtypen. Montague selbst arbeitete vornehmlich mit dreien:

- Wahrheitswerte
- Individuen
- mögliche Welten (in verschiedenen Farben: Zeitpunkte, alternative Welten, und so weiter).

Dann jedoch kamen aus vielerlei Gründen weitere hinzu:

- Situationen
- Ereignisse und Prozesse
- Raumpunkte bzw. Raumzeitpunkte
- Grade
- Gruppen

In diesem Seminar wollen wir uns einigen dieser Basistypen widmen.
