Räume sind mehr als nur ihre bauliche Substanz. So wie auch 'Geschlecht' nicht nur eine bloße körperliche Gegebenheit beschreibt. Vielmehr handelt es sich bei 'Geschlecht' und 'Raum' um wirkmächtige soziale Kategorien, die unseren Alltag durchdringen. Fast unmerklich strukturieren sie das Soziale und schaffen vergeschlechtlichte und verräumlichte Wirklichkeiten, in denen wir uns befinden und tagtäglich bewegen. Im Rahmen des Seminars möchten wir uns den beiden Begriffen 'Geschlecht' und 'Raum' annähern, um das gemeinsame Wirken dieser Kategorien verstehen zu können. Dabei greifen wir auf verschiedene Beispiele (nicht nur) aus dem pädagogischen Alltag zurück, anhand deren wir das Zusammenspiel identifizieren, wodurch ein GeschlechterRaum geprägt wird.
