Der Kurs "Formale Methoden 3: Annotation" wendet sich an alle Studierende des BA Linguistik im Hauptfach, die das Profil "Kommunikation" wählen. Das Seminar bietet eine Einführung in das "Handwerk" der linguistischen Analyse von Audio- und Videodaten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Transkription mit GAT und der Mehrebenenannotation mit ELAN.

Weitere Inhalte der Veranstaltung sind:

Transkription:
Übungen zum Transkribieren (mit IPA/SAMPA, GAT)
(kurze) Vorstellung und Diskussion anderer Transkriptionssysteme
Kennenlernen von Transkriptionssoftware.

Annotation:
Einführung in die Mehrebenenannotation
Vorstellung verschiedener Programme
Ausführliche Arbeit und Übung mit ELAN
Verschiedene Anwendungen/Auswertungen annotierter Daten (Grundlagen).

Zur Teilnahme ist die Bereitschaft, sich aktiv an den Übungen zu beteiligen, Voraussetzung.
Das Seminar schließt mit einer Klausur am 27.02.2009 ab.
