In dem Seminar nehmen wir Lernorte im lebenslangen Lernen in den Blick, in denen vorwiegend „informell“ gelernt wird. So werden Städte, Museen, Medien, Erlebniswelten, Betriebe, Reisen, Sport, Kultur, etc. auf ihr Potenzial für Lerngelegenheiten betrachtet. Dabei soll ein Verständnis entwickelt werden, was „Informelles Lernen“ umfasst und in welchem Verhältnis es zu „formalen“ und „non-formalen“ Bildungsprozessen steht.
Lernen findet nahezu an jedem Ort statt; dies wird u.a. rekonstruiert anhand der eigenen Erfahrungen bzw. der Orte, in denen wir uns Wissen aneignen und Kompetenzen entwickeln.
Erwartet wird, dass jede/r Studierende einen Kurzimpuls („Pecha-Kucha“-Vortragstechnik von 6 Minuten 40 Sekunden) zu einem selbst gewähltem Thema hält. Das Präsentationsformat wird in der ersten Seminarsitzung vorgestellt.
