250211 Internationale Erwachsenenbildung (S) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Die Vorstellung, dass wir in nationalen „Containern“ leben, ist spätestens seit der Finanz- und Flüchtlingskrise überholt. In diesem Seminar werden wir verschiedene Aspekte internationaler Weiterbildung erarbeiten.

Dabei wird es zunächst darum gehen, sich mit ausgewählten Weiterbildungssystemen verschiedener Regionen und Länder vertraut zu machen und relevante Akteure der internationalen Weiterbildung zu identifizieren und deren Bildungsarbeit in den Blick zu nehmen. Ein besonderen Schwerpunkt wird dabei auf der Rolle Internationale Organisationen und auf der Weiterbildung in der Europäischen Union liegen.

Im weiteren Verlauf werden theoretische Ansätze und Konzepte (von Lifelong Learning bis Globales Lernen) vorgestellt, die die internationale Debatte in der Weiterbildung geprägt haben. Ebenso werden forschungsmethodische Aspekte internationaler und vergleichender Weiterbildungsforschung (Stellenwert des komparativen Blicks) thematisiert.

Abschließend wird die internationale Bildungskooperation, bspw. im Rahmen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, als Herausforderung für das Managementhandeln und der internationalen Personalentwicklung (internationale Kompetenzen) beleuchtet.

Das Einbringen eigener ausländischer Sprach- und Länderkenntnisse ist ausdrücklich erwünscht.

Der Seminarplan und weitergehende Literaturhinweise werden in der ersten Seminarsitzung vorgestellt.
