Im Rahmen des Seminars soll zunächst über Theorien und Befunde zur Entwicklung von Lesekompetenz und Lesemotivation gesprochen werden. Im zweiten Teil des Seminars werden – mit Bezug auf die vorgestellten Theorien und Modelle – Konzepte und Materialien zur Förderung von Lesekompetenz und –motivation entwickelt. Im dritten Teil werden forschungsmethodische Fragen sowie aktuelle empirische Studien vorgestellt und diskutiert.
