Eine Überblicksvorlesung über die Geschichte Großbritanniens vom Empire zur europäischen Mittelmacht. Sie umfasst die Zeit der Weltwirtschaftskrise, des Zweiten Weltkriegs, der Neuorientierung Großbritanniens in Europa und des gesellschaftlichen Wandels von einer liberalen Ökononomie zum Wohlfahrtsstaat und zurück zu einer neoliberalen Wirtschaftsordnung.
