Die Theologie Jürgen Moltmanns (1926-2024) hat international große Resonanz gefunden und stand insbesondere mit der lateinamerikanischen Theologie in intensivem Austausch. 2010 publizierter er die "Ethik der Hoffnung", in der er seine Arbeit an dem Thema Hoffnung nochmals konzentriert und in einfachen Worten auf die Gegenwart bezieht.

Die Verantstaltung beschäftigt sich mit Moltmanns Leben und Theologie und geht den zentralen Gedankengängen der Ethik der Hoffnung nach.
