In this seminar, we will explore central texts of US-American literature. The seminar aims to strengthen the fundamental skills of literary analysis within a context-oriented framework. Students will engage in close reading and practice the use of literary terminology, methodology, and theoretical approaches while analyzing and interpreting a range of literary forms, including poetry and narrative texts, produced by US-American writers.
I recommend that you attend Basis 2.1 "Introduction to Literary Analysis and Interpretation" first before attending this class.
