Contents, comment

Ziel und Inhalt des zweiwöchigen Praktikums ist es, die Grundlagen der angewandten Nutztierethologie kennen zu lernen. Wie werden Tiergesundheit, Wohlergehen und ausreichende Haltungsmöglichkeiten von Nutztieren gemessen und entsprechend bewertet? Dabei wird auf verschiedene Zuchtformen und deren spezifische Haltungsbedingungen mit deren Vorteilen und Nachteilen eingegangen. Anhand praktischer Verhaltensexperimente (u.a. Geflügel) sollen Kenntnisse im experimentellen wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten sowie in den zugrunde liegende Konzepten und Methoden erworben und angewandt werden. Die erste Kurswoche findet in Bielefeld statt (Mo-Fr, 19.9.-23.9.). Die zweite Veranstaltungswoche (Mo-Fr, 26.9.-30.9.) wird zur praktischen Versuchsdurchführung am Institut für Tierschutz und Tierhaltung des Friedrich-Loeffler-Instituts (FLI) in Celle durchgeführt (www.fli.bund.de). Bitte schreiben Sie sich parallel auch für den Seminarteil 20 50 87 ein. Beide Veranstaltungen gehören zusammen und ergeben in der Summer 5 LP.
