Dass Macht in pädagogischen Institutionen eine Rolle spielt, ist wohl kaum grundsätzlich umstritten, wenngleich – z.B. unter Hinweis auf Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten von Kindern und Jugendlichen – die Machtförmigkeit pädagogischer Praxis oft ausgeblendet wird. Im Seminar werden wir uns mit unterschiedlichen Verständnissen von Macht auseinandersetzen und der Frage nachgehen, wann und inwiefern Macht als problematisch gelten kann. Anhand von Beispielen und empirischen Studien werden wir pädagogische Praxis unter ‚machtanalytischer‘ Perspektive betrachten.
Die Diskussion im Seminar basiert auf vorbereitender Textlektüre, Inputs sowie Referaten. Einige Texte werden in Gruppenarbeit vorbereitet, wofür dann Seminarzeit zur Verfügung gestellt wird.
Das Seminar soll für ‚Macht in pädagogischen Institutionen‘ sensibilisieren sowie zum Nachdenken über einen Umgang damit anregen.
