Das Seminar stellt eine Einführung und Orientierung in erziehungswissenschaftliche Fragestellungen im internationalen Kontext dar. Ausgewählte Themen aus der Allgemeinen und Komparativen (d.h. vergleichenden) Erziehungswissenschaft werden aus nationaler und internationaler Perspektive, Länder vergleichend und in Bezug auf ihre Einflüsse auf die (inter-)nationalen Wissenschaftssysteme behandelt. Dabei werden die zugrunde liegenden Begriffe wie Europäisierung, Internationalisierung und Globalisierung vor dem Hintergrund ihres wissenschafts- und gesellschaftstheoretischen Diskurskontextes geklärt und systematisiert. Einen inhaltlichen Bestandteil bildet dabei die kritisch-reflexive Betrachtung der Internationalisierung des tertiären Bildungsbereichs, welche gegenwärtig vor der Folie des Bologna-Prozesses für das Selbstverständnis und die Entwicklung der Disziplin Erziehungswissenschaft zum europaweiten Diskussionsgegenstand avanciert ist.

Zulassung zum Master of Arts Erziehungswissenschaft
Das Seminar ist bilingual (deutsch/englisch) konzipiert. Es richtet sich an Studierende im Masterstudiengang sowie an Studierende im Hauptstudium Diplompädagogik. Eine regelmäßige aktive Teilnahme sowie das Interesse an der Thematik wird von den Dozentinnen erwartet. Für die Vergabe von Leistungspunkten wird die Bereitschaft vorausgesetzt, die englischsprachigen Texte sprachlich und inhaltlich vorzubereiten, sowie an den einzelnen Seminarsitzungen aktiv in Form von Diskussionen, Gruppenaufgaben, Übungen, Simulationen, etc. teilzunehmen.

Die aktive Teilnahme/Studienleistung im Masterstudiengang wird u.a. durch eine regelmäßige Mitarbeit an den größeren Gruppenarbeiten im Seminar erworben - nähere Informationen werden in der 1. Sitzung bekanntgegeben. Im Diplomstudiengang kann ein Schein durch ein mündliches Kolloquium im Umfang von 20 Minuten oder durch das Anfertigen einer Hausarbeit (15-20 Seiten) erworben werden.
