Zu Beginn dieses zweiwöchentlich stattfindenden Seminars werden die Teilnehmenden wichtige Begrifflichkeiten des Zweitspracherwerbs kennenlernen und einen historischen Überblick über die frühe Zweitspracherwerbsforschung erhalten. Weitere Themenblöcke dieses Seminars umfassen die Auseinandersetzung mit verschiedenen Spracherwerbstheorien, das Kennenlernen von Methoden der Zweitspracherwerbsforschung und die Betrachtung möglicher Einflussfaktoren auf den erfolgreichen Zweitspracherwerb. Des Weiteren werden die Teilnehmenden aktuelle Forschungsprojekte zum Zweitspracherwerb kennenlernen sowie die Relevanz dieses Forschungsfeldes für den schulischen Kontext diskutieren.
