In der Iwasawa-Theorie studiert man das Verhalten von arithmetischen Invarianten in unendlichen Türmen von Zahlkörpern.
Das Seminar gibt eine Einführung in diese Theorie anhand des Beispiels der Kreisteilungskörper und ihrer Klassenzahlen geben.

Requirements for participation, required level

Voraussetzungen: Algebraische Zahlentheorie oder kommutative Algebra.
Kenntnis der p-adischen Zahlen ist hilfreich.
