Christen glauben an Jesus Christus. Aber von wem ist damit die Rede? Vom König der Juden? Wahrem Gott und wahrem Mensch? Historischem Jesus oder verkündigtem Christus? Gekreuzigtem und Auferstandenem? Bruder Jesus? Einem sündlosen Menschen? Haupt der Kirche? Wer aber ist Jesus Christus "für uns heute"?
Wie verhält sich die protestantische Rede von Jesus Christus zu katholischen, orthodoxen und freikirchlichen Ansätzen? Die Veranstaltung zeichnet verschiedene Fragen und Zugänge zum Reden von Jesus Christus nach und setzt diese ins Verhältnis zu gegenwärtigen Fragen. Teilnehmende gewinnen inhaltliche Grundlagen für das Erteilen eines konfessionell-kooperativen Religionsunterrichts.
Die Veranstaltung ist verbunden mit dem selbstorganisierten beobachtenden Besuch zweier Gottesdienste und einem Besuch des Möhler-Institutes in Paderborn.

Die Veranstaltung baut thematisch auf dem Überblick aus dem Grundkurs Systematische Theologie auf. Es ist aber möglich, die Veranstaltung auch parallel zum Grundkurs zu besuchen.
