230563 Social Justice Education 101: Teachers as agents of change (S) (SoSe 2026)

Contents, comment

In this course, we will discuss, deconstruct and co-construct the foundations of teaching for social justice in the English classroom. This will include a variety of methods (i.e. critical literacies), materials (i.e. literature and digitality), concepts (i.e. translanguaging) as well as personal experiences of other teachers and students. At the core of our seminar will also be your voice, understandings and experiences of what means to become a teacher-advocate of social inclusion in language spaces and why it is now more relevant than ever before.
