Begrenzungen und Zwischenräume, Leerräume und Innenräume: innerhalb des Seminars wird das Thema Raum in vielen Facetten praktisch und theoretisch im Mittelpunkt stehen. Verschiedene Materialien werden experimentell erprobt, Verhältnisse von Form und Inhalt, Form und Umraum, Form und Betrachter reflektiert.
Die Beschäftigung mit Originalen ermöglicht theoretische Einblicke in die Bildhauerei des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts. Bestandteil des Seminars ist die Beschäftigung mit ausgewählten plastischen Arbeiten bzw. zu unterschiedlichen künstlerischen Positionen in der Bildhauerei.
Das Seminar Raumbezogenes Gestalten wird in jedem Semester angeboten. Die Anzahl der Arbeitsplätze ist auf 15 begrenzt. Sollten sich mehr Studierende anmelden, haben die höheren Semester bei der Platzvorgabe Vorrang.
