Im Zentrum des Seminars steht die Auseinandersetzung mit Projekten und Programmen im Bereich der kulturellen Bildung, mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt auf der Musikvermittlung. Gemeinsam untersuchen wir aktuelle Theorien und Paradigmen zu sozialer Ungleichheit und sozialer Gerechtigkeit und diskutieren zentrale Fragestellungen:
• Was bedeutet soziale Gerechtigkeit im Kontext kultureller Bildung?
• Wie können Kulturprojekte sozial gerecht gestaltet werden?
• Welche Rolle spielt Kulturvermittlung als Mittel zur Förderung von Teilhabe und Inklusion?
Am Beispiel der Musikvermittlung bzw. -pädagogik beschäftigen wir uns mit Ideen aus den Bereichen social justice in music education, community music und artistic citizenship.
