Im Seminar werden zunächst anhand einschlägiger Texte die notwendigen theoretischen und methodischen Grundlagen zur Analyse von Sprachwandelprozessen gelegt.
An Beispielen aus der lateinisch-romanischen Sprachgeschichte werden wir uns konkrete Fälle von Sprachwandel ansehen und sprachliche Innovationen und deren Ausbreitungsprozesse, sozio-historische Bedingungen und Kontexte für Wandelerscheinungen und verschiedene Wandelformen auf allen sprachstrukturellen genauer betrachten.
