Die Veranstaltung umfasst 3 LVS, d.h. eine entsprechende Anzahl von Veranstaltungsterminen finden nicht statt:
Nicht stattfinden werden die Vorlesung am 22.12.2015 sowie die Vorlesungen ab dem 28.01.2015.
In der Vorlesung werden verschiedene Aspekte der Anwendungen der Mathematik behandelt. Zum einen sollen mathematische Modelle mithilfe elementarer analytischer Werkzeuge untersucht, zum anderen sollen anhand stochastischer Modelle die Grundideen der Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung erarbeitet werden. Darüber hinaus werden kombinatorische Fragestellungen diskutiert.
