Besprochen werden die Grundbegriffe der Differentialgeometrie, d. h. im wesentlichen der Begriff der Krümmung in seinen verschiedenen Ausformungen (Riemannscher Krümmungstensor, Skalarkrümmung, Ricci-Krümmung, Weyl-Krümmung). Weitere Stichworte sind: Lie-Gruppen und ihre Darstellungen, Prinzipalbündel, Vektorbündel, Zusammenhang, Charakteristische Formen und Klassen.

Wünschenswerte Vorkenntnisse: Geometrie und Topologie 1
Inhaltliche Vorkenntnisse: Mannigfaltigkeiten, Tangentialvektoren, Formen.
