In diesem Seminar, das als Lektürekurs konzipiert ist, werden wir uns mit der Monographie „Das Jahrhundert des Kindes“ von Ellen Key beschäftigen. Nach einem kurzen Überblick über die Reformpädagogik zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts werden wir Ellen Keys Werk Schritt für Schritt bearbeiten. Die Lektüre wird von der Frage geleitet sein, welche Bedeutung Ellen Keys Vision für das 20. Jahrhundert für Bildung und Erziehung im 21. Jahrhundert hat und inwiefern auch in Bezug auf das 21. Jahrhundert von einem Jahrhundert des Kindes gesprochen werden könnte.
