In diesem Seminar setzen wir uns mit der Frage auseinander, wie digitale Technologien soziale Räume im Alltag und in institutionellen Kontexten strukturieren, formen und verändern. Ausgehend von sozialraumtheoretischen Ansätzen und Foucaults Machtanalytik untersuchen wir, wie digitale Infrastrukturen, Platt-formen und Datenpraktiken zur (Re-)Produktion von Machtverhältnissen beitragen und Subjektivierungsprozesse beeinflussen.

Im Fokus stehen dabei sowohl alltägliche Praktiken – etwa in Bildung, Arbeit oder sozialen Medien – als auch institutionelle Rahmungen, die durch Digitalisierung transformiert werden. Wir diskutieren, wie digitale Technologien neue Formen der Kontrolle, Selbstführung und Teilhabe ermöglichen oder einschränken.

Das Seminar verbindet theoretische Grundlagen mit empirischen Beispielen und bietet Raum für die Entwicklung eigener kleiner Forschungsprojekte, in denen die Teilnehmenden digitale Sozial-räume analysieren und kritisch reflektieren können.
