Contents, comment

What is science and how does it work? The picture of “the scientific method” that most of us learn in school is a simplified version of scientific practice. In this course, you will acquire a deeper understanding of the concepts, methods and difficulties that make up real-life scientific research. Specific topics include: What are the goals of science? How do scientists attain knowledge about the world? What is the status of scientific knowledge?
