Die "Einführung in die Volkswirtschaftslehre" soll einen ersten Einblick und Überblick in Themen und Methoden der Volkswirtschaftslehre vermitteln und insbesondere aufzeigen, dass Konzepte, Ansätze und Daten aus dem Bereich der VWL erlauben zahlreiche gesellschaftlich und politisch relevante Themen und Herausforderungen besser zu verstehen und zu adressieren. Die Veranstaltung wird als Ringvorlesung organisiert, in der verschiedene Lehrende aus dem Bereich Volkswirtschaftslehre zu jedem Termin den Umgang mit einer wichtigen volkswirtschaftlichen Fragestellung diskutieren und oft auch mit Hilfe von Fallbeispielen illustrieren. Die Studierenden sollen die Kompetenz erlangen mit Hilfe grundlegender volkswirtschaftlicher Konzepte und Denkweisen aktuelle ökonomische und gesellschaftliche Probleme besser zu verstehen. Gleichzeitig soll die Veranstaltung einen Ausblick auf wichtige Themen geben, die in den weiterführenden Lehrveranstaltungen der folgenden Semester dann vertiefend behandelt werden.
Die erste Vorlesung findet am 20.10.2025 statt. Eine genaue Übersicht über die verschiedenen behandelten Themen und die Vortragenden befindet sich im Lernraum.
