Advanced Academic Writing (AAW) is designed as a hands-on writing workshop, offering you the chance to
- discuss the academic writing process/outcome with peers and the lecturer
- work on outline/structure of your writing projects in literary and cultural studies
- formulate thesis statement(s)
- practice coherence and cohesion in building arguments and writing the overall paper
- look into citation styles
- improve your overall academic writing skills
Practical tips and complementary writing tools incorporated in the seminar are meant to assist you with your individual writing projects in literary and cultural studies (NOT linguistics).
